In business, there are moments that demand transformation. For Isla Sell, a South West physiotherapist with a growing vision, the opening of her new studio was just such a moment. Isla recognised this as the perfect opportunity to elevate her brand to match her evolving business and create a cohesive identity that would support the debut of her studio.
When Isla approached me, her existing brand no longer aligned with where her business was headed. Her business and reputation had grown, but her branding and communications didn’t reflect her professional evolution. With a new studio on the horizon, she needed a brand overhaul that would resonate with her audience, showcase her expertise, and provide a foundation for the future.

One of the most exciting aspects of this project was the timeline. Isla was deep into preparations for the studio launch, meaning we had a fixed window to complete the rebrand, refresh her website, and create marketing materials to support the grand opening. The timing was tight, but Isla was determined not to let this opportunity pass her by. She understood that presenting a cohesive, modern brand at the launch would set the tone for her business’s next chapter.
We began by diving into Isla’s vision for her business. What did she want her brand to communicate? How did she envision her clients interacting with her new studio and services? Together, we explored the core values and personality of her brand, ensuring that every element of the rebrand reflected her goals and aspirations, before ploughing ahead with rebranding for alignment, a website overhaul and print and advertising assets.
The first step was to craft a new visual identity. We created a brand that was modern, professional, and approachable—qualities that reflected Isla’s expertise as a physiotherapist while making her services accessible to her audience. From the colour palette and typography to the logo design, every detail was designed to create a strong, cohesive identity. There were other elements to weave in too, we wanted to keep the primary font, but elevate it with styling, colour ways and secondary and tertiary supporting fonts. The building housing the new studio also had some fun architectural features that we wanted to bring into the design.
Next, we turned our attention to Isla’s website. Her site now no aligned with her company's fresh look and feel. The existing platform and web host, GoDaddy was working really well for Isla's needs. There was no need to reinvent the wheel, overcomplicate the project or give Isla a new platform to get to grips with so we gave it a complete overhaul, focusing on user-friendly navigation, clear messaging, and a design that mirrored her new brand identity. The result was a professional, welcoming online presence that would attract and engage new clients, on a platform that Isla would be able to administrate herself when the time pressures of renovating and opening the studio had subsided.
To support the studio’s launch, we developed a suite of marketing materials, including print assets and advertising designs. These materials were designed to build anticipation and excitement around the opening, ensuring Isla’s audience was informed and ready to engage with her new studio.
The rebrand, website refresh, and marketing materials came together just in time for the studio’s launch. The new brand identity not only looked great but also aligned perfectly with Isla’s vision and goals with a cheeky nod to the features of her new studio. It provided her with a solid foundation to continue growing her business long after the project was completed.
But the story doesn’t end there.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this collaboration was seeing Isla take her new brand to new heights. After the studio launch, Isla was able to step back into the driver’s seat, managing her website, social media, and overall marketing strategy. The tools and assets we created together in 2019 became the building blocks for her continued success, allowing her to grow her brand independently while staying true to the identity we had crafted.
